Texas Rangers Twitter GM Item 2: Extend Adolis “El Bombi” Garcia

Adolis Garcia is easily one of the most popular figures in the DFW sports world, and rightly so.

Since his call-up to the big leagues on April 13, the man known as “El Bombi” has done nothing but rake and providing the Rangers a jolt on the field they haven’t received from a player in years.

Garcia’s electrifying style of play and penchant for clutch hits has endeared him to a fanbase that is starved for star power and a reason to bring the spotlight back onto Texas Rangers baseball.

So, naturally, Texas Rangers Twitter would love to keep this man around.

Garcia has drawn comparisons to former Ranger Nelson Cruz for his late bloom and rapid burst onto the scene with his bat as well as his ability to play the outfield.

If the Rangers have in fact found their next Nelson Cruz, an extension might be more than merited for El Bombi.
