Bert Campaneris started playing MLB in 1964.  Campaneris started his MLB career by playing 13 seasons in the Kansas City/Oakland Athletics organization, followed by parts of three seasons in Texas, and parts of three seasons in California.  Campaneris sat out his age 40 year but returned for one final season with the New York Yankees.  In 19 MLB seasons, Campaneris played 2,328 games, had 2,249 hits, 79 HR, 646 RBI, 649 SB, and had a .259 BA.  His best season in Texas occurred in 1977 when he had 140 hits including 19 doubles, seven triples, 27 SB, and a .254 BA.
