Ranking Texas Rangers uniforms: #1- Powder blues

Nothing tops the powder blues.

These are by far my favorite of the 2020 uniform updates. Powder blue is a great color for a baseball uniform, and quite historic (the Phillies and Cardinals have great powder blues, for example).

They’re only worn on Sunday home games, which gives them the rarity factor of the Red Fridays, but also incorporate the script “Rangers” across the front. Powder blue pants go perfectly with a powder blue top. Oh and the powder blue “T” cap? That’s the icing on the cake.

Texas doesn’t call these their “Sunday Best” for nothing, after all!

Sunday is a great day to spend at Globe Life Field, and now that the Rangers have an air-conditioned stadium, afternoon games aren’t the heat slog they once were.
