Cole Winn is currently the #3 prospect and the #2 pitching prospect in the Texas Organization.  Winn missed his second season of professional baseball due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Rangers were careful of Winn in 2021 as he logged only 86.0 innings.  In his two professional seasons, Winn has pitched a total of 154.2 innings.  Winn will likely start the season at AAA and should have an increased workload in 2022.  For now, Winn is insurance for the Rangers starting rotation.  Expect Winn to get some starts throughout the 2022 season, especially once the rosters expand in September.
