Texas Rangers spring training at Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Arizona, is almost here. Texas opens spring training at its home stadium against the Kansas City Royals, which also plays its home games at Surprise Stadium, on Friday, February 20.

With spring training on the horizon, those of you who are traveling to Surprise to watch the Rangers may be wondering where to grab a bite to eat and grab some drinks before and after games. We got you covered.

Irish Wolfhound Pub

Per the pub's website, they offer an authentic "Pub House" experience based on the "Craic" of Ireland. Irish Wolfhound Pub has 15 high-definition TVs and two high-definition projectors. Known for their Irish beer, the pub also offers a menu full of food items prepared daily "using only the finest ingredients."

The pub offers 19 draft beers on tap. Happy hour includes 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm on Friday and Saturday.

Popular appetizers include Cliffs of Moher steamed mussels & clams, Irish cocktail sausages and Irish jacketed potato nachos. As for entrees, they offer burgers, fish and steak sandwiches, Dublin coddle, chicken piccata and more.

The kitchen is open 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday to Wednesday and 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Thursday to Saturday. Happy hour for food spans from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and a full Irish breakfast is served Saturday and Sunday until 1:00 p.m.
