While the Texas Rangers haven't been doing well in the recent stretch of games, the prospects are brighter than ever. In the recent Top 30 Prospects list that was released last week, several prospects ended up higher on the list than expected. One of those prospects is the one that we just drafted. Malcolm Moore was rated the fifth-best prospect in the Rangers organization despite only playing a few games for the Hickory Crawdads. Find out where your favorite prospect is in the recent list down below.

Surprise Rangers prospect makes big entrance on top prospects list

Rangers Top 30 prospects: 1-5

Sebastian Walcott kicks off the top 30 prospects list. The 18-year-old shortstop has one of the brightest futures with the organization. He played in the MLB Futures Game earlier this season at the All-Star Break. Kumar Rocker comes in at number two on the list. After recovering from Tommy John Surgery, he's only allowed one run with the Frisco RoughRiders this season. Alejandro Rosario, Jack Leiter, and Malcolm Moore round up the top five of the list.

Rangers top 30 prospects: 6-10

Emiliano Toedo is the sixth-rated prospect in the Rangers' organization. He has been one of the best pitchers on the RoughRiders this season. Before the season began, fans thought he would be a good option out of the bullpen. Justin Foscue is seventh on the latest list. Foscue has a batting average of .292 with the Round Rock Express this season. Winston Santos, Dylan Dreiling, and Paulino Santos make up the rest of the top ten prospects.

Rangers top 30 prospects: 11-20

Paulino Santana is the 11th-best prospect in the Rangers organization. The 18-year-old is batting .292 with the Rangers rookie league team this year. Another prospect to keep an eye on is Izack Tiger. He's been making a name for himself with the Hickory Crawdads with a 2.76 ERA.

The last prospect in the middle of the list to watch is Mitch Bratt. He was recently promoted to the Frisco RoughRiders and will probably finish the season with the team. In his first start with the RoughRiders, he struck out four batters in five innings. The RoughRiders will need him with the Texas League Playoffs right around the corner.

Rangers top 30 prospects: 21-30

Pitcher Kohl Drake is the 21st prospect on the list. Drake has recently been putting up significant outings that have turned heads in the front office. After putting together a stat line to remember in August, he was sent to the Frisco RoughRiders on Tuesday. Brock Porter rounds up the recent top 30 prospects on the list. He has had a rough season with a 6.98 ERA.

He's got the stuff to be a great pitcher for the Rangers; he's just having one of those bad seasons. I'm sure Porter can climb up the list again. The Rangers have a bright future with these 30 prospects making strides at every level in the minor leagues.
