The Dream Lineup for the 2024 Texas Rangers

While still living in the dream of the Texas Rangers winning the World Series I wanted to create my dream lineup that Texas could put together this offseason.

Batting sixth CF: Cody Bellinger

If we are going with the dream lineup I am signing Cody Bellinger to be the center fielder. He already has experience roaming center at Globe Life Field. He played for the Dodgers in the 2020 postseason played at Globe Life Field. Offensively, he had a bounce-back season in 2023 for the Cubs. Bellinger had a .307 batting average, 26 home runs, and a .881 OPS. It is the best season Bellinger has had since his MVP season back in 2019. Everything for Bellinger fell back into place.

Bellinger would give the Rangers lineup length better than they had this past season. He would improve upon the production that Leody Taveras was able to offer Texas this past season. Bellinger would also get to reunite with his former teammate Corey Seager. He would immediately become the best center fielder Texas has had since Josh Hamilton was playing center for the Rangers from 2008-2012.
