Thanks to huge games from Marcus Semien and Corey Seager, the Texas Rangers are just one win away from securing the franchise's first World Series title after winning Game Four in decisive fashion. Last night's game got more interesting than it should have been late, but scoring 11 runs solves a lot of problems.

For their first attempt to bring the trophy home to Arlington, the Rangers will be sending Nathan Eovaldi to the mound to face off against the Diamondbacks' Zac Gallen in what should be an exciting matchup despite the fact that the Rangers are going to be without Adolis Garcia for the rest of the series.

2023 World Series Game Five: How to watch the Texas Rangers today (November 1)

Normally having Eovaldi on the mound in a critical spot would be cause for celebration, but the Diamondbacks have been the one team that have actually roughed him up this postseason. In his start earlier in the series, Eovaldi went 4.2 innings and struck out eight batters, but he also gave up five runs which is far from ideal. Fortunately for Texas, Arizona is going with their ace Gallen who has really struggled during the postseason as a whole. Expect both teams to have a quick hook for both of these guys if they get in trouble given that their seasons are on the line.

Texas really needs to win tonight as the longer this series drags out, the greater the chance that they will begin to feel the losses of Adolis Garcia and Max Scherzer. The off day in the series tomorrow helps the cause on the starting pitching side, but giving Arizona an opening to send the World Series back to Arlington is asking for trouble.
