What TV Channel are the Rangers on today? How to watch Game Three of the World Series
Coming off a tough loss in Game Two, here's how to watch Game Three of the World Series as Texas looks to bounce back.
It is probably best if Texas Rangers fans try to forget that Game Two of the World Series ever happened. The Diamondbacks beat up Jordan Montgomery a bit and never took their foot off the gas pedal while Merrill Kelly was dominant in Arizona's 9-1 win on Saturday. Sometimes you just have to tip your cap, but this is officially the danger zone as the Fall Classic now heads to Phoenix with the Diamondbacks having taken home field advantage away from Texas.
Fortunately, the Rangers have played well on the road this postseason, especially in the ALCS, so not all is lost. For Monday's Game Three, the Rangers are turning to veteran Max Scherzer while the Diamondbacks are sending out rookie Brandon Pfaadt.
2023 World Series Game Three: How to watch the Texas Rangers today (October 30)
On paper, this looks like it would have been a huge mismatch in Texas' favor as Scherzer has been one of the best pitchers of his generation while Pfaadt had a 5.72 ERA in 19 appearances this season. However, Max hasn't looked quite right since returning from injury during the playoffs and Pfaadt has looked like a completely different pitcher in route to a 2.70 ERA in his four postseason starts with 22 strikeouts in 16.2 innings of work.

For Texas to get back on the winning track, it is all on if the offense shows up. Max is crafty enough to probably be able to navigate the Diamondbacks' lineup reasonably well (emphasis on probably), but Arizona is playing well in all facets of the game right now. If the Rangers' bats can make Pfaadt work in each at-bat and hopefully get him out of the game early, they will have a great chance to win tonight and take a 2-1 series lead.
