Texas Rangers spring training schedule with how to watch options

The Rangers broadcasts are going to look a little different this season with the creation of Rangers Sports Network. The team announced on January 30, they will televise eight spring training games, four on Rangers Sports Network and four over-the-air (OTA) in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

The first OTA broadcast will be on March 12 against the Cincinnati Reds then two days later, Texas will face the Rockies on March 14 for the first televised game on Rangers Sports Network. All eight games will also be available on Victory+, the Rangers exclusive streaming home, which is currently offering a 2025 season pass for $100.

The Rangers open up the spring on Friday, Feb. 21 against their complex-mates the Kansas City Royals. The first seven games feature a handful of games against Chicago teams, division rival Mariners and Bruce Bochy's old squad, the Giants.

All in all, the Rangers will play 33 games (31 in spring training, two exhibition) across the next seven weeks. They include a couple of matchups with division-rivals Angels, Athletics and Mariners, three split squad games and two games against their 2023 World Series opponent, Arizona.

Spring Breakout Games are also returning for their second year, which will feature the best prospects from the Rangers and Giants organizations on March 15 at 6:05 p.m. CT.

You can also decide to ditch the television for a game or two and visit Surprise to watch a game in-person. Surprise Stadium, located northwest of downtown Phoenix is a great place to watch Rangers' baseball and experience spring training with affordable ticket prices, ranging from $12 to $60.
