With the Texas Rangers 5-2 loss to the Athletics on Wednesday, all 15 teams in the American League have finally recorded 10 or losses this season. Texas is still 14-10 on the season and hold a one game lead in the AL West over the Mariners and Astros.
Despite the lack of offense to start the year, being four games over .500 and first place in their division is a solid place to be.
Here are a few updates and injury news around the organization to catch you up on what has been going on.
Joc Pederson snaps 41 at-bat hitless streak against fireballer Mason Miller
The torture is over. Joc Pederson is no longer looking the hitless streak demon directly in his eyes after recording a double in the ninth inning of Wednesday's loss to the Athletics.
Pederson was previously 0-for-41 and hadn't recorded a hit since a first inning double against the Reds on April 2. As a pinch hitter, Pederson drilled a 100 mph fastball from Mason Miller off the bat at 107 mph over the centerfielder's head for a double. He did almost get thrown out at second but regardless, that demon has been slayed.
No telling if this will be the jumpstart to Pederson finally breaking out but at least he doesn't have to worry anymore about putting his name in history right next to Chris Davis.

Corey Seager placed on 10-Day IL, Nick Ahmed called up
When Seager exited Tuesday's game with right hamstring tightness, all of us Rangers' fans collectively held our breaths, hoping for the best. And with all things considered, I'd say the results faired pretty well.
Seager's MRI revealed just a minor low-grade strain of his hamstring and it results in a 10-day IL stint, which he was placed on prior to Wednesday's game in Sacramento. Texas recalled shortshop Nick Ahmed from Round Rock, who made his Rangers debut on Wednesday.
Manager Bruce Bochy did say that Seager will likely need only the minimum 10 days on the IL and could be activated right when he is eligible on May 3 against Seattle.
2 of the Rangers top 30 prospects sidelined with injuries
The future of the organization took a small hit this week with the news of two of the top 30 prospects hit the injured list with various injuries.
Texas's sixth overall prospect Emiliano Teodo is dealing with right shoulder fatigue and will be held out for 7-10 days and then be re-evaluated. After a strong spring training, Teodo was optioned to Triple-A to start the year and it hasn't been the best for him. In 9 1/3 innings, the right-hander has an 8.86 ERA and has surrendered three home runs.
Winston Santos, the fifth overall prospect in the organization will miss an extended period of time, out at least 8-10 weeks due to a stress reaction in his back. The 23-year-old has thrown 5 2/3 innings this season with 11 strikeouts for Double-A Frisco.
Leiter's return to the rotation is coming soon
After going on the injured list after his five shutout innings against the Reds on April 2 due to a blister on his right middle finger. He has been tremendous to start the season, recording a 0.90 ERA, 10 strikeouts and a 0.70 WHIP in 10 innings.
He was placed on the 15-day IL and recently participated in a rehab assignment in Round Rock on Tuesday where he threw 4 2/3 shutout innings with a walk and four strikeouts.
Leiter was in the Rangers' clubhouse in Sacramento on Wednesday and told reporters he was happy with how his rehab start went and he feels ready to go. General Manager Ross Fenstermaker said they were also happy about his progress but there's no timeline yet for his return.
