After the small panic that we have all been in concerning Jurickson Profar and his shoulder tendonitis, this is a very good sign. Jon Daniels had said the other day that if he had one more setback, then it would be something that the team would be worried about, so this is a big next couple of days for the youngster.
Now swinging a bat does not mean he will be getting right back into the cages and taking batting practice, it just means that he can swing a bat and see how his shoulder feels. Like I said, it is a big couple of days for the young second baseman as he figures out how that shoulder is feeling. With the news about Geovany Soto and the news about Matt Harrison, it would be nice to get some good news on the likes of Jurickson Profar like we tenitivly got on Derek Holland.
So lets all cross our fingers Texas Rangers fans and hope for the best as Jurickson Profar begins to swing for the season again today, and lets hope that the pain does not return. Cause my poor heart can’t take another setback right now!
