The Texas Rangers 2015 schedule has been released, and in 2015 the Rangers will begin their quest to turn it around against the Oakland Athletics in Oakland. In fact, out of their 20 games in the month of April, 18 of them are against AL West opponents, and 10 of those are on the road.
The Texas Rangers home opener is against the Silver Boot winning Astros on April 10th, and it will be a six game home stand featuring the Astros and the Angels. The only non AL West team the Texas Rangers play in April is the Diamondbacks. Can I just say I don’t really like inter-league play all season long?

If you look ahead into May, 24 of the Texas Rangers first 26 games are all against the American League West before they finally move out of the division. Then they face a stretch against the AL East with Tampa, NY, and Boston on tap to finish out the month of May.
The Texas Rangers get to play The Dodgers, Diamondbacks, Padres and Giants all at home this season, as well as on the road. Another thing I do not like about the new scheduling is that the Rangers do not finish the season in the AL West, their last three games are against the Detroit Tigers.
So if you get the chance go and take a look at the 2015 schedule, go see some teams that don’t come to Arlington very often, and start getting ready for the 2015 Texas Rangers baseball season. I can’t believe that 2014 is already over, but at least we can now start talking about 2015! Let’s Go Rangers!
