Texas Rangers Announce Manager Candidates
The Texas Rangers have announced six candidates to be interviewed for the Manager position. The Rangers have already interviewed Steve Buechele and Mike Maddux.
- Jeff Banister – Bench Coach, Pittsburgh Pirates
- Tim Bogar – Interim Manager, Texas Rangers
- Kevin Cash – Bullpen Coach, Cleveland Indians
- Alex Cora – Manager and General Manager, Caguas Criollos (Puerto Rico Winter League)
- Torey Lovullo – Bench Coach, Boston Red Sox
- Joe McEwing – Third Base Coach, Chicago White Sox
The Texas Rangers also confirmed today they have granted the Arizona Diamondbacks permission to interview Tim Bogar.

It is not a big surprise that the Rangers General Manager Jon Daniels wants to conduct a thorough search for the next skipper, as he previously stated
