The Rangers have faced him twice in the postseason, and Verlander went 1-1 with a 5.56 ERA in the 2011 ALCS.
And in six starts in his career against the Astros, Jordan Montgomery is 1-1 with a 3.73 ERA. he went 6.2 innings pitched and gave up one earned run in a victory for the St. Louis Cardinals on June, 27 against Houston.
