The Texas Rangers are at home, finally. They play their first ever postseason game tonight at Globe Life Field against the Baltimore Orioles at 7:03p.m. CDT.
Texas is on a postseason four game winning-streak. In game three Corey Seager walked an MLB postseason record five times en route to the Rangers securing an 11-8 victory at Camden Yards.
Right hander Nathan Eovaldi(1-0 1.35 ERA) will get the nod for the Rangers and right hander Dean Kremer(0-0 0.00 ERA) will start for the Orioles. Dean Kremer went 13-5 with a 4.12 ERA in the regular season and gave up three earned runs in 6.1 innings pitched against the Rangers on May 27.
In the three games in his career he has faced the Rangers, he has a 5.17 ERA in 15.2 innings pitched.
Although, in the ALDS at home for the Rangers, they are 1-11. That one win came against the Tampa Bay Rays in 2011 in game 2 of that series.
In order for the Rangers to win, they will have to rely on Eovaldi to continue his postseason success in his outings in the ALDS in his career(1-0 2.25 ERA) in the two games he has pitched in, both games for the Boston Red Sox.
