Kicking off next week, the Arizona Fall League (AFL) is entering its 33 season of fall baseball action consisting of some of the top prospects in Minor League Baseball. A time to get more reps beyond the regular season, this year the Texas Rangers are sending seven players to Arizona.

First founded in 1992, the AFL has seen hallowed talent play on the spring training fields in Arizona. From Derek Jeter, Todd Helton and Albert Pujols to Roy Halladay, Max Scherzer and Buster Posey.

Former Rangers' Michael Young, Rafael Soriano Derek Lowe, Mark Teixeira and manager Ron Washington are part of the 46 players inducted into the AFL Hall of Fame. In 2025, the hopeful future of the Rangers will get set for a full month of fall ball.

Jose Corniell, RHP

Fresh off his big league debut in Game 162 with the Rangers, Corniell will keep the good vibes rolling in Arizona this fall. Only appearing in 14 games at four different levels, due to an elbow injury, Texas wants the 22-year-old righty to get more innings before closing out his 2025 campaign.

Kolton Curtis, RHP

The six-foot-four, right-hander was signed as a free agent by Texas in 2022 and three seasons in, Curtis has worked at three different professional levels. In 19 games with High-A Hub City, Curtis had a 3-3 record, 5.18 ERA, 75 strikeouts and 44 walks in 66 innings.

Joey Danielson, RHP

A 17th-rounder out of North Dakota State in 2024, Danielson started the year in High-A and eventually got promoted to Double-A Frisco to finish the season. The 24-year-old struggled with Frisco in 14 innings, walking 14 batters to just 19 strikeouts. Texas will look to just keep giving him comfort and confidence on the hill this fall.

Dylan Dreiling, OF

Another 2024 draft pick, this time a second rounder from Tennessee, played 110 games with High-A Hub City this year. He didn't have the strongest first full year in pro baseball, hitting .226 with 12 home runs, 62 RBIs and 101 strikeouts.

Malcolm Moore, C

The 30th overall pick two drafts ago, Mooe dealt with a plethora of injuries in his first full season of professional baseball. Moore, 22, is someone that the Rangers are very high on as they plan for the future. AFL will continue letting him get reps behind the dish calling games and at the plate seeing pitches.

Winston Santos, RHP

Sitting at No. 4 on the Rangers top prospects list, Santos also dealt with an early season injury, a stress reaction in his back. The 23-year-old only made six starts this season to the tune of a 6.75 ERA, 26 strikeouts and a 1.97 WHIP in 17 innings.

Emiliano Teodo, RHP

After a blistering spring training with the big league club in March, some lauded him as a potential Opening Day roster candidate. However, he was optioned to the minors to start where he struggled in Double-A and Triple-A. In 27 games, Teodo had a 7.20 ERA 38 strikeouts, 29 walks and a .213 opponent average out of the bullpen.

Sebastian Walcott, SS

The Rangers No. 1 overall prospect (No. 4, MLB) will participate in his first Arizona Fall League after the 19-year-old played 124 games with Double-A Frisco this year. Still young, the Rangers want Walcott to as many at-bats as he can to continue development but is very much part of the team's future plans.
